confetti throwing
Hell must have frozen over, because we got our tickets for London! I'm still offline but this is such a big moment in my Bon Jovi life that it deserves a blog post. Meanwhile we also decided to add Glasgow and Lisbon to our tour so we are trying to find tickets now. (I know I mentioned Birmingham in my last post but we changed plans. It happens.)
I can't believe we actually want to go back to Lisbon after meeting the taxidriver from hell there last tour but this time we come prepared! We booked a hotel that is located near a tube station with a direct link to the airport ánd the creepy yet magical venue that is Bela Vista. Because even though there was no food, no toilets, no shade and a lot of police and creepy people staring at us from their balconies we still had THE MOST amazing night. And I really think that the setting took part in that. The park with it's hills and the planes flying over... I'll never forget how happy I felt and I don't think it's wrong to hope to experience some of that again. And I am sure we will. I really hope we can find fan club tickets and if not I guess we'll settle for less. As long as we can go, right?
And then there's Glasgow... well I've always wanted to go to Scotland and I can't think of a better reason to go. So yes, that makes eight shows in total and six of them in eleven days, including 2 back to back shows. DON'T JUDGE ME. *insert lame joke about blame it on the love of rock & roll*
I also decided I will probably go online in April (or maybe March) because by then I think i'm allowed to start preparing for the shows. I mean... I don't want to take part in the confetti throwing during Captain Crash anymore, because it's time to let those poor guys know that we don't enjoy the song as much as they think we do, but still I almost bought a few bags of confetti last week when I saw it in a store. Then this little voice in my head whispered 'you are so pathetic' and I moved on.
It's TOO soon. Tour's too far away. Unfortunatily.

Tour year has arrived
Well then, it's 2013 so its official the year of the tour again. I can't say preparations have really started yet because Munich is still 134 days away at the moment and even I am not that desperate. (Although... can we go on tour yet?!) Unless discussing what other shows we can possibly add to our tour is part of that as well. In that case we are in the middle of tour preparations. We decided we are definitely doing Birmingham the day after Manchester, for example. But we will wait and see what tickets are still available for that show in a couple of months.
We also discussed Ireland again, and I really wish I could do that show, especially because the venue is Slane Castle but it's also that venue that makes it nearly impossible for us to go. It's going to be hard and expensive to even get there at all. So it's time to forget about that. It's not gonna happen, get over it!
Meanwhile we are also still keeping our hopes up for a Dutch show, although I don't think that is going to happen anymore. Maybe not ever again. And it's probably definitely too early to even dream about a second London show to be added while we are still waiting for details of the first London show. It is said that the concert was moved from Hyde Park to the Olympic Stadium by the way, which is great news but officially there is still no news at all.
So I guess that's it for now.
