BJ - NJ
Personally, I don't really like wearing a lot of Bon Jovi merch to the concerts although I think it looks pretty cool when other people are all dressed up in BJ during the shows, but this is something even I couldn't resist! That's right - and I'll wear it with pride. ;-)
This time next week we'll be in Manchester. ♥ Can't wait to go back on tour, there's nothing worse than going back to real life after a BJ show. D:

who says I wanna go home?
We got home yesterday, after spending 16 hours on trains and now I'm already at work again. Reality check much? Thankfully I really like my new job and it's not a very busy day!
I guess this means the first part of our tour is officially over though. :-( of course we still got eight shows left but it's a bit sad anyway. Especially because I have to go to work or school every single day of the rest of the week as well. Not sure how I'm gonna do it but I'm sure I'll find a way without having to burst my bubble. In fact, i'd like to stay inside it for the next 17 days because that is when we are off to Manchester.
For now I'd like to thank everyone for reading this page and especially for all the lovely comments on Facebook.
Back soonn!!

Munich: show day !
When it was confirmed that Richie wouldn't come to Europe I literally saw the band falling apart right in front of me for a second and I was so scared, because I can't and I don't want to lose them. So I was scared to see them without Richie for the first time, but the show in Munich proved that I haven't lost them, and that I never will. It was different without Richie, and he was missed badly by us and the band as well - but it was still amazing. More than that. They showed me again that there will always be only one band for me. They are my guys, and I can't tell you how thankful I am for everything. Richie has to come back and I'll keep saying that, but tonight was such a relief because it was still so them. <3 data-blogger-escaped-br="">
We got up at 5 in the morning and I felt surprisingly well, once again. I think I'm getting used to these messed up schedules faster these days. We walked to the venue at 6 ad got there at 6:20. It had gotten quite bust over night but we still had number 67/68 GC.
We spent the morning laying in the sun in the park, while we finished our banner and listened to BJ. We were told to come back for the first roll call at 10, but that became 11, maybe later and then we were told to wait around because the truck with the tickets and wristbands hadn't arrived yet. They expected it to take another 30 minutes. We eventually had to wait 3,5 hours and got our tickets at 14:00. After that I could finally go buy some food and I was just eating my pizza in the sun when the band did a quick soundcheck. I'm not gonna lie - I fangirled a little when I heard Jon's voice again after two years. (Warning: more JBJ fangirl talk is coming later in this post.)
Then finally, at around 16:00, they moved us to a place inside the stadium where we did a last line-up and then we could go in. At that point I was rather nervous and the sight of the massive and beautiful stage as we walked down the stairs didn't really help. But a couple of minutes later we reached the GC and we got a really good spot at the front row, with a perfect view of the stage and the guys.
We sat down and remained seated all the way through the first support act: some crappy band from a local radio station. They got the whole stadium to sing along to Scandal Um Rosie. It was that kind of band. Then the second support act was the Austrian singer Christina Sturmer - never heard of her but she seemed quite popular. I didn't like her that much though. Luckily, by the time she was finished we only had to wait 25 more minutes until showtime. Omygod, indeed.
Eventually the intro started at around 20:00. I hadn't seen it before but it was amazing. Then the band walked on stage, followed by Jon and after seconds I knew it was okay - after the first song (That's what the water made me - SO much love for that song) I knew it was different but more than okay! I still had that feeling and that felt so so good.
The show went on and it was obvious that Jon was having a really good time, as well as the rest of the band, and Phil was so cute. All smiles but still he stayed in the background - in fact he's doing a perfect job. And he's obviously having the time of his life. At first I didn't think the set would be very special but I was so wrong. I think I realised that when Jon did his Jagger impression. (I still can't handle that) and he was in one of thóse moods. The looks, the moves, the things he says when he's in one of those moods... Oh well I don't think I need to explain what I am talking about. They also did Rocking All Over The World during the Sleep jukebox btw,I haven't heard that for three years - SO COOL <3 data-blogger-escaped-br="">
Jon didn't go out on the circle at first, and I didn't think he planned to do it at all either, probably to protect his voice from whatever - as he was wearing a scarf as well, but then during the second encore David did the first part of In These Arms and Jon went out on the circle anyway. To play the rest of that song and Saturday Night. Back on the main stage they went straight on to Always and after that These Days. I couldn't believe it. At that point they had been on stage for three hours. I expected These Days to be the last song but thén Jon did the whole falling to his knees and begging the band for one more song thing and they finished with I love This Town. Three hours and fifteen minutes. No words, seriously. And what a way to start our tour.
The crowd was so amazing as well, they really showed the band why they love Munich so much and Jon kept thanking everyone and saying that they would be back. And they better be, because we wanna go again!!!
The walk back to the hotel went smoothly (Nikita told me to describe it as flexible) and after picking up some drinks and food at the gas station we could finally go to our room - where we watched the last part of the Eurovision song contest and then we well asleep - finally.
I am sure that at this point I forgot half of what happened but I'll do another update when I get home. We are now at the Pizza Hut and still have another five hours to kill before our train to Amsterdam takes off. I really don't wanna go home though. :-( I missed touring so much and the guys, and the people, and the queueing and the guys again.
Anyway I haven't been very good company for Nikita in the last thirty minutes so I'm gonna make up for that now by telling some hilarious jokes or something, or maybe not.
Okay byee - will do another update when I get home.

Munich: day 1
One exhausted but happy hello from Munich!! It's gonna be a quick update because I dropped my phone on the street at the stadium when we saw the stage and the glass broke in a million pieces. -_-
We left Holland at about 20:30 last night, while it rained and arrived in a cloudy but warm Munich at around 7:30 this morning.
Surprisingly ( :-/ ) I was wide awake during most of the train journey but it wasn't as bad as I remembered. Maybe it was because I decided not to worry about it and enjoy the view (for as far as there is such a thing in the middle of the night) And with my beloved iPod to keep me company the night eventually turned into a trip down Bon Jovi memory lane as we stopped at stations in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Mannheim. It left me staring into the darkness of these towns with a smile on my face. Good thing everyone else was asleep I guess - or pretending to anyway.
After arriving in Munich we checked in at our hotel at about nine, (huge room with a biiiig balcony!) took a shower and went shopping. I was actually feeling really well, despite the lack of sleep. Then we had dinner at the Hard Rock Café and did some shopping for the show tomorrow. When we got back to our room after that we suddenly had a third bed in our room, I can't wait to find out who our mystery guest is lol!
Now we just got back from the stadium, where, like I said, I got so excited when we saw the stage that I dropped my phone and the glass broke. What is my problem, seriously?
Anyway there were about 29 people on the FC GC list right now but we went back to our room to have a good night's sleep and we'll go back in the morning. One Direction was playing in the arena next to the olympic stadium by the way - that was weird!
Ok so that's it for now, I added some photos from today as well. I'm gonna start on our banner and tomorrow morning I'll wake up in the same city as both Jon Bon Jovi ánd Harry Styles. I don't think you realise how much I really love Munich right now! ;-)
Tomorrow is show day - surreal! Excited!!
Bye bye byeee xxxx!

It's on!
I can't say I missed having to drag a suitcase up and down the stairs at trainstations... But the good news is: I am officially back on the road! I'm now on my way to Nikita's place where we'll finish out banner and have dinner before we'll head to Amsterdam central station. I think the train to Munich leaves at about 9pm tonight, but I'm not sure.
I do know for sure that we'll be seeing te guys in two days and I don't quite realise that. It's sooo surreal, but it's not!! Our 2013 Because We Can tour has started!!
See you in Munich xx

I wasn't
We are leaving TOMORROW and this morning I bought the last few things for Munich and the tour (for real this time.) it included a tent for queueing and I actually had to queue to get it because they were really cheap :') Also: I wasn't going to make a banner to take to every show (yet) but then I had an idea. D:

Tour's almost here!
Last weekend I saw One Direction on friday ( ♥ ) and DI-RECT on Sunday, and I saw Mumford & Sons at the end of March, and I've had the most amazing time at their concerts but this time néxt week we'll be on the train to Munich to see Bon Jovi. (Where One Direction will perform on the day we arrive by the way :o) ) And I really, really can't believe we'll see them again that soon. Or at all. First I thought that had to do with the whole 'Richie situation' but I noticed that when I think about the tour now I'm actually still looking forward to it. A lot. So that's not it. It's just back to the same old: "I can't believe I'll be seeing my heroes again next week!"
I've said this before but every time I see Bon Jovi it feels like a part of me sees them for the first time. I don't know how to explain it but I think it's just because it means so much to me, and whenever I think about it now I know it does but I also forgot how it really feels to see them, to be with them and hear all the songs live. It's going to be so special, no matter what. And I really can't wait.
It also means though that sometime this week I'll have to stop reblogging Harry Styles pictures on Tumblr (yes I really do that, what even is my life?) to make a 'what to pack for Munich' list and actually start packing. I hate packing, and I'm dreading the train journey to Amsterdam with my suitcase already but o my god, tour time really, réally is coming now! One week and counting. ♥
love xx
